Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xavier Lane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ken Lee!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Lane has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee is trying to break free.
Lane softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Lane struggles to land a body shot inside as Lee controls his hands.
Lane digs a right hand into Lee's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lee's gas tank.
Lee wants to break free but Lane has control.
Lane is working Lee over against the cage.
Lee looks winded!

Lane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Lane.

Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lane jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee is trying to counter with his kicks.
Lane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lane closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Ken Lee has been cut.
Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lane.
Lane lands a right hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Lane moves into the clinch.
Lane stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Lane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooh!!! Lane has knocked Lee down with a huge combo! Lane steps away and waves a wobbly Lee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Lee is rocked!
Xavier Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lane cracks Lee with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lee tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lane pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lee is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xavier Lane!
The defeated Ken Lee had this to say: 'That's life he's just BETTER tonight but I'm not going anywhere. '.
