The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Bullock.
Derki misses with a right hand
and Bullock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bullock avoids the body shot from Derki.
Bullock slips a straight right by Derki.
Derki stuffs the takedown attempt from Bullock. Bullock gets slowly back to his feet.
Machamp Derki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Derki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bullock swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Derki throws the left hand but Bullock avoids the punch easily.
Bullock tries to clinch but Derki moves out of range.
Derki throws a big shot that misses.
Derki cracks a nice hook into Bullock's ribs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Derki. Bullock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bullock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Derki.
Bullock misses with a takedown attempt - Derki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Derki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Derki slaps away a takedown attempt from Bullock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Bullock. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Derki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bullock.

Derki throws a right hand that misses
and Bullock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A big right from Derki misses.
Bullock's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Derki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bullock scrambles back to his feet.
A big left from Derki misses.
Derki leaves Bullock with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bullock takes one to the chin there.
Derki takes one to the side of the head.
Bullock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bullock is breathing heavily.
Bullock looks to land a combination but Derki avoids it well.
Derki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bullock sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bullock is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A punch lands to the side of Bullock 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bullock slips a straight right by Derki.
Derki misses with a looping left.
Bullock went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Derki might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Bullock rushes Derki and presses him up against the cage.

Derki breaks from the clinch.
Bullock keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Derki.
As Derki looks to move away, Bullock throws a big counter combo but Derki just gets out of the way.

Bullock tries to close the distance and clinch but Derki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bullock moves in looking to clinch but Derki pushes him off.
Derki throws a looping overhand right but Bullock ducks down to avoid it.
Derki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Derki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Derki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bullock.
Decent striking displayed by Derki there.
Bullock blocks a jab.
Bullock is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Derki.
Derki cracks Bullock on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bullock falls backwards against the cage. Derki follows up with more strikes that drop Bullock to his knees. Derki keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bullock! This one is all over!
