Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Chester Bowen (ranked 6016 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mbownka Eckson (ranked 4261 p4p, 455 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Mbownka Eckson!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.

Eckson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bowen defends well.

Eckson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bowen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bowen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Eckson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Eckson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Eckson!

Eckson tries to advance position but instead Bowen slips a leg back in to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eckson in particular looking to stall.
Bowen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Eckson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Eckson's back!

Eckson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eckson trying to hold on to Bowen's head to control him but Bowen postures up.

Bowen is trying to work for a kimura but Eckson is defending well.

Eckson is trying to maintain the position but Bowen is very close to passing his half guard.
Bowen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eckson keeps working.

Bowen is looking for a kimura but Eckson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bowen to get the leverage.

Eckson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bowen pulls his head out easily.

Bowen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Eckson!

Eckson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bowen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Eckson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Eckson shrugs it off.

Bowen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Eckson is surviving well by controlling Bowen's body position as best he can.

Bowen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Eckson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Eckson tries to hold on but Bowen pushes him away.
Bowen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Eckson to take his back!

Eckson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Bowen is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Eckson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Eckson tries to escape but Bowen has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Bowen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Eckson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bowen is persistently looking for the submission but Eckson is defending it well.

Bowen is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Eckson taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Bowen.
