Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Bart Cole (ranked 5841 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Gallo (ranked 25006 p4p, 706 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Bart Cole! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Antonio Gallo!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.

Horrible takedown attempt by Cole or perhaps it was just good defense by Gallo, which made it look bad.

Cole decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Cole is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gallo is just riding it out for now. Cole eventually gives up the hold.
Gallo tries to roll over but Cole keeps him under control.

Gallo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cole's guard.
Gallo wants to free his trapped foot but Cole is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Cole is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gallo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gallo's back!

Gallo is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cole.

Gallo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cole gets his way!

Gallo has knee on belly momentarily but Cole bucks him off and regains half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gallo in particular looking to stall.
