Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Lezer!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lezer closes the distance and clinches.
Lezer keeps control of Marshall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Marshall tries to pull guard but Lezer holds him up against the cage and eventually Marshall drops back down to his feet.
Lezer lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Nick Marshall has been cut.
Marshall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lezer smiles and moves away.

Lezer has closed the distance and engaged Marshall in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lezer lands an elbow inside that Marshall shrugs off.
Marshall wants to take the fight to the mat but Lezer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marshall tries to pull guard but Lezer won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marshall tries to pull guard but Lezer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Lezer blocks a body shot from Marshall.
Lezer lands a knee to the head.
Lezer connects with a nasty looking knee right to Marshall's face.


Nick Marshall's cut is getting worse.
Lezer lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Marshall is looking to break free of the clinch but Lezer has double underhooks.

Marshall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Marshall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lezer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marshall somewhat.

Lezer takes the fight into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lezer landing knees to the head.


Nick Marshall's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Marshall tries to throw a body punch but Lezer avoids it by throwing Marshall back against the cage.
Lezer lands an elbow inside that Marshall shrugs off.


Jeez, Nick Marshall's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nick Marshall's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tom Lezer!
