Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dawkins Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Agent Smith! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Smith gets caught flat footed, as Sanchez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sanchez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Sanchez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sanchez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sanchez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanchez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sanchez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Sanchez scoring with strikes but Smith is staying in there. Sanchez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sanchez has hold of Smith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sanchez wants to finish this one by submission but Smith is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sanchez. Dawkins Sanchez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanchez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape. Sanchez is going olschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dawkins Sanchez dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sanchez goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Smith is on top in guard.
Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanchez wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith wanted to stand there but Sanchez had control of the position. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Sanchez is trying to keep Smith in close.
Sanchez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Smith frees his head nicely. Oh but Sanchez has switched to an armbar! Smith is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
