Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tupp (ranked 3515 p4p, 348 weight class) and James Baker (ranked 6207 p4p, 487 weight class). Tupp's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black No. 1. Jack Tupp is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Tupp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Baker! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tupp instigates a clinch. Tupp has picked Baker up - he's going for a ride! Tupp dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Baker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tupp is working away from the top position though. Baker is looking for a sweep. Tupp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tupp slows the pace down in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baker tries to get to full guard but Tupp has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker trying to control from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tupp sitting and controlling from the half guard. Baker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tupp is working away from the top position though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Baker dodges the punch combination from Tupp.
Tupp moves into the clinch. Tupp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tupp. A little jabbing left from Baker on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tupp scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Baker is pressing down on Tupp's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Baker wants to sweep but no luck. Tupp looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Baker wants to sweep here but Tupp controlling him for the moment. Baker has control of Tupp's left arm, preventing Tupp from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tupp sitting in guard, not really doing much. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Baker is striking from the bottom but Tupp uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Tupp performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Baker wants to improve his position but Tupp is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Baker wants to get back to full guard. Tupp winds up and cracks Baker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker trying to control from the bottom.
Tupp seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tupp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tupp shoots in but Baker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Baker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tupp dives in for a single leg takedown but Baker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Tupp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker throws a series of punches but Tupp avoids them all with ease. Baker looks to land a left hand but Tupp moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Tupp dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Tupp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baker is fending him off so far but Tupp persists. Nope, Baker circles away and we're back to standing. Tupp darts in trying to clinch enabling Baker to counter with a crisp jab. Tupp rushes Baker and presses him up against the cage. Baker is looking to break free of the clinch but Tupp has double underhooks. We've been informed that Baker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Tupp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baker ducks right into an uppercut from Tupp. Tupp has closed the distance and engaged Baker in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker is working for takedown but Tupp is calmly controlling the position for now. Baker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tupp is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Baker can do to turn this around? Tupp tightens his grip and picks Baker up, before dumping him to the ground. Baker manages to land in guard. Tupp is standing up over Baker. Baker looks to escape but Tupp dives into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baker throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupp decides to stand back up. Tupp steps back and let's Baker get back to his feet. Tupp shoots in and bounces Baker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Baker wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tupp manages to pass to side control. Baker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Baker is striking from the bottom but Tupp uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker is looking to get back to full guard here but Tupp has managed to pass to side control instead. Tupp remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Tupp scoring with punches from side control. Baker is looking for a sweep. Tupp controlling from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Baker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tupp asserts his dominance and retains side control. Baker tries to buck Tupp off but Tupp is having none of it. Baker is being controlled here. Baker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Baker throws a strike from the bottom but Tupp passes into side control!
Tupp is putting a hurting on Baker here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tupp decides to stand back up. Jack Tupp is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Baker gets caught flat footed, as Tupp shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Baker is breathing heavily. Tupp lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tupp not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Baker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Tupp wants to clinch up but Baker keeps it at a distance. Baker feints the counter takedown. Tupp shoots in and bounces Baker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Baker has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tupp has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Baker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tupp is defending well. Tupp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tupp drops Baker with a beautiful combination! Baker stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tupp is looking for the KO!
It looks like James Baker has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupp shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Baker takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Tupp sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Baker bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
