The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagel takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hagel throws a right hand that misses
and Fernandez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hagel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Fernandez tries to sprawl but Hagel drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fernandez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hagel.

Hagel rushes Fernandez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hagel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fernandez manages to avoid it.

Hagel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fernandez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hagel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hagel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
