With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uadab Santiago!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Santiago's half guard.
Santiago is trying to get back to full guard.
Santiago is pressing down on Bravo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Santiago looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bravo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Santiago is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo trying to control but Santiago is working from the bottom.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santiago swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santiago keeping moving, preventing Bravo from controlling successfully.
Santiago controls Bravo momentarily but Bravo frees himself.

Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Santiago is retaining full guard.
Bravo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Santiago had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bravo defends it easily.
Bravo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bravo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Santiago is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bravo has his hands clasped together but Santiago extends and breaks Bravo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Santiago.
