Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Shane MacGowan (ranked 1746 p4p, 243 weight class) and Paul Hunt (ranked 719 p4p, 104 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Shane MacGowan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 6 losses; Paul Hunt! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hunt shoots in but MacGowan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hunt trying to control the action but MacGowan just sinks the hooks in. MacGowan controlling well, preventing Hunt from escaping the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! MacGowan wants to control but Hunt is keeping busy. Hunt is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if MacGowan gets his way!
