Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapani Kansalainen (ranked 135 p4p, 141 weight class) and Ernest Graves (ranked 16 p4p, 18 weight class). Tapani Kansalainen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Kansalainen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little jabbing left from Graves on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A jab lands there for Graves.
Ernest Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Graves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kansalainen circles away.
Graves dives in and grabs Kansalainen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kansalainen pushes down on Graves's head and hops out.
Kansalainen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Graves.

Graves throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kansalainen was covering up waiting for the punch and Graves finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kansalainen is really struggling to control Graves but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kansalainen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Graves should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kansalainen has tightened it up now! Graves should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Tapani Kansalainen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
