Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Russell Northrop (ranked 3976 p4p, 1413 weight class) and Troy Hooper (ranked 498 p4p, 206 weight class). Northrop's entrance music is Alive And Kicking. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hooper works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Northrop tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Northrop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hooper defends it easily.
Northrop is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hooper rolls with it to try and escape but Northrop cranks on the arm and Hooper is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Russell Northrop really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
