Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Morozov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morozov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bassie en Adriaan. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Morozov! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan defending well as Morozov loads up on a big left hand. Morozov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chan. Morozov gets the takedown into side control. Chan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morozov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Morozov advances to mount. Morozov punching from mount but Chan doing a good job of avoiding damage. Chan tries to hold on but Morozov postures up. Morozov tries to control but Chan wriggling away. Chan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Morozov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Morozov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Chan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Morozov avoids the attempt from Chan to control. Chan is looking to get to half guard. Morozov trying to control but Chan is having none of it. Chan is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morozov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Morozov is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chan! Chan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chan stopping the sweep attempt from Morozov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan looking to pass the guard. Morozov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chan controls from within his opponent's guard. Morozov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morozov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chan stacks Morozov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chan! Morozov is letting Chan control him for a moment. Morozov tries to buck Chan off but Chan is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chan gets to mount! Morozov was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Morozov can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andrei Morozov will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chan lands with a cross.
It looks like Andrei Morozov has been cut. Chan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Chan connects with a looping right hand.
Chan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Morozov. Morozov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Morozov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morozov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Morozov is rocked! Morozov throws a push kick but Chan slaps the foot to one side. Morozov is still on wobbly legs! Can Chan finish him? Chan throws an overhand right that drops Morozov like a sack of potatoes! Chan dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Chan!
