The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gehrig uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
Wallace looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gehrig fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wallace takes a swing at Gehrig 's ribcage but misses.
Gehrig looks for a takedown but Wallace sprawls well.
Gehrig dives in for a single leg takedown but Wallace sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It seemed like Wallace was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for Gehrig on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Gehrig . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wallace bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gehrig 's head backwards.

It looks like Terry Gehrig has been cut.
Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Gehrig sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wallace circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gehrig shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wallace defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A cross from Wallace lands.

Gehrig walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gehrig keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gehrig is looking for a counter combo.
Wallace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gehrig is looking to clinch.
Gehrig tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallace swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A nice side step and Wallace releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Cid Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallace scores with a shot to the body.
Gehrig is breathing heavily.

Wallace drops Gehrig with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gehrig looks back up at him and smiles so Wallace waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wallace misses the shot to the body.
Wallace lands a body shot.
Gehrig avoids the body shot from Wallace.
Wallace lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
