Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johan Olsen!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Gek sprawls well. He's pushed Olsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gek slips under a jab.
Gek throws a body punch but Olsen moves out of range.
Gek connects with a good right hand that stumbles Olsen. Olsen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Olsen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Olsen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gek moves away.
Olsen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gek is wriggling around but Olsen manages to pass to half guard.
Gek wants to get back to his feet.
Gek is trying to escape back to his feet but Olsen uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gek bucks up and tries to throw Olsen off but instead Olsen has got his back!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gek trying to get back to his feet but Olsen is in full control for now.
Olsen has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Gek is defending well but eventually Olsen manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Gek has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johan Olsen!
Johan Olsen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
