Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andrew Carter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andrew Carter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Acton! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter avoids the head kick by Acton.
Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Carter misses with a wild body shot. Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Acton tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Acton to the ground. Acton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A head kick misses from Carter. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Acton turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Carter lands a slapping body shot.
Acton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carter. Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Acton.
Acton slips a straight right by Carter. Carter throws a right hand that Acton ducks under and follows up with a left that Acton also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot by Carter. Acton stuns Carter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Acton slips a jab from Carter. Carter with a lazy takedown attempt and Acton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Acton trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Carter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Acton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Acton trying to control the position from guard on top but Carter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Acton is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Carter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Acton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Acton is pushing down on Carter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carter is fighting to maintain full guard but Acton has managed to sneak the leg through. Acton trying to advance position but Carter counters by regaining guard. Acton throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Carter is working Acton over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Carter controlling from the top position. Acton keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully. Acton keeping full guard, as Carter tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carter stopping the sweep attempt from Acton. Acton has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Acton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Carter counters with a series of strikes. Acton will be more careful next time no doubt. Acton slips a straight right by Carter. No luck for Acton with that takedown attempt. Carter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Carter dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Acton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard. Acton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Carter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Acton has Carter in his guard. Acton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Carter escapes and throws Acton's legs to the side, diving into side control! Carter working the ground and pound from side control. Acton is looking to regain half guard here but Carter keeps moving and retains side control. Acton looks to move to half guard but instead Carter has passed into mount! Damn! Carter is working for a guillotine from mount but Acton frees his head quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Acton is trying desperately to improve position. Acton in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Acton is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Acton flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Carter anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Acton and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Carter slips an arm under Acton chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Carter has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Carter is squeezing on Acton like an anaconda would it's prey. Acton fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Andrew Carter!
