Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Rowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Glasgow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Rowler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anton Glasgow!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glasgow takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Glasgow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rowler misses with a hook.
Glasgow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rowler shoots in for a takedown but Glasgow shows good takedown defense.
Glasgow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Glasgow misses the target.
Glasgow slips under a jab from Rowler.
Rowler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Glasgow tries to bum rush Rowler with a series of wild strikes but Rowler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Glasgow thows a left - swing and a miss!
No joy there for Glasgow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glasgow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rowler.
Rowler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Glasgow pinned against the cage. Glasgow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Glasgow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Decent striking displayed by Glasgow there.
Rowler shoots for a takedown but Glasgow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Rowler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glasgow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rowler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Glasgow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rowler throws out the jab.

Rowler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Glasgow keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Glasgow wants to improve his position but Rowler is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glasgow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Glasgow.
Rowler being controlled here momentarily.
Rowler throws a big right hand that misses.
Glasgow tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rowler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rowler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rowler is working Glasgow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Glasgow pulls Rowler in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rowler won't allow Glasgow to get back to his feet.
Rowler distracts Glasgow with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rowler slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Glasgow tries to bench press Rowler off him but Rowler keeps the position.
Glasgow manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Glasgow in particular looking to stall.
Glasgow moves nicely into side control.
Rowler manages to get back to half guard.

Rowler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Glasgow is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rowler is looking to improve his position.
Glasgow looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Glasgow is looking to advance position but Rowler won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rowler tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Still in half guard, Glasgow seems content to control.
Rowler is trying to get back to full guard.
Glasgow works his way into full mount!
Rowler is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Glasgow dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rowler misses with a takedown attempt - Glasgow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Glasgow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Glasgow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Glasgow looks to land a combination but Rowler avoids it well.
Glasgow goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Eric Rowler has been cut.
Glasgow throws a series of punches but Rowler moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Glasgow. No joy for Rowler on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Rowler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab from Rowler misses.
Glasgow throws the left hand but Rowler avoids the punch easily.
Rowler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Glasgow pinned against the cage. Glasgow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eric Rowler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Glasgow jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Glasgow throws a series of punches but Rowler avoids them all with ease.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Glasgow lands a nice looking body shot.
Glasgow throws a right hand that Rowler ducks under and follows up with a left that Rowler also avoids with ease.

Rowler gets caught flat footed, as Glasgow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Glasgow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Glasgow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Rowler has a closed guard, preventing Glasgow from standing up.
Rowler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Glasgow controls the pace.
Glasgow wants to pass the guard but Rowler is keeping the position.

Glasgow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well, if Glasgow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Despite being in the dominant position, Anton Glasgow just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Glasgow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Glasgow is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rowler rather than just go for the knockout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Glasgow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Glasgow waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Rowler.
Glasgow misses with a few strikes there.
Glasgow's corner calls for a 1-2. Glasgow obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Glasgow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rowler takes a swing at Glasgow's ribcage but misses.

Glasgow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Glasgow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rowler is looking to escape.
Glasgow takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rowler swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Glasgow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Eric Rowler's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Rowler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Glasgow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Glasgow gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rowler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rowler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Glasgow has Rowler pulled in close to control his posture.
Glasgow lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rowler!

Rowler is trying desperately to improve position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Rowler regains half guard.
Glasgow content to control rather than advance.

Glasgow decides to stand and escape the position.
Rowler misses the shot to the body.
No joy there for Glasgow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rowler thows a body shot but no joy.
Anton Glasgow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rowler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Rowler seems to be working for a kimura but Glasgow defends the submission attempt.
Glasgow moves into full guard.
Glasgow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rowler's guard.

Rowler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Glasgow stacks Rowler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Glasgow!

Glasgow has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Rowler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Glasgow.
Rowler throws a looping overhand right but Glasgow ducks down to avoid it.

Glasgow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rowler throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
You can see the frustration on Rowler's face as Glasgow controls the position.

Rowler is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Eric Rowler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Anton Glasgow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Glasgow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
