Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane throws a jab but it's blocked by Hess.
Lane misses with a two punch combination.
Xavier Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lane fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hess really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lane breaks from the clinch.
Lane forces Hess back against the cage and clinches.
Hess throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lane manages to break the clinch.
Hess swings for the body but Lane moves out of range.
Lane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hess cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A shot to the liver by Lane. Beautiful body shot.
Lane scores with a sloppy right hand. Hess should have avoided that one.
Lane jabs Hess to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lane falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Hess counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lane walks into a straight right hand from Hess.
Lane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lane lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hess blocks a jab.
Hess half committed to a counter leg kick.
Good shot there by Lane.
Lane throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hess counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hess showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lane.
Hess gets tackled into the cage by Lane. Lane maintains the clinch.
Lane tries to work over Hess's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lane misses with a hook. Hess ducked under it nicely.

Lane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hess throwing a counter right hand but Lane manages to avoid it.
Lane misses with a double jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lane clinches up with Hess and pushes him back against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Lane.
Hess prevents a body shot from Lane.
Lane prevents Hess from breaking the clinch.
Lane tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hess was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lane misses with a jab to the body
and Hess counters with a stiff right hand.
Lane works Hess's body with a nice hook.
Lane scores with a decent looking hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lane gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lane scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A short right from Lane.
Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hess avoids the body shot from Lane.
Lane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hess stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hess uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lane.
It looked like Hess was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lane.
Lane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lane connects with a looping right hand.
Hess staying out of range there.
Lane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hess moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lane throws a big shot that misses.
Lane misses the shot to the body.
Lane misses with a series of wild punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hess throws a hook to the side of Lane's head but Lane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some wild striking there from Lane.
Left hook, right uppercut from Lane.
Lane throws a series of punches but Hess moves out of range.
Lane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hess tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lane was well out of range. Poor timing from Hess.
Lane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lane looks to land a right hand but Hess moved out of range.
Jab by Hess.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xavier Lane dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hess ducks under a wild hook from Lane.
Lane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hess looks to score with a jab to the body but Lane is just out of range.
Lane is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hess with a body shot.
Hess lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lane circles away quickly and effectively.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lane! But no joy.
Hess drops his hands momentarily and Lane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lane has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lane is looking to clinch.
Lane takes a jab right on the kisser.
A jab from Lane does it's job there.
Hess walks into a left hand.
Hess is rocked!
Lane throws a series of punches but Hess moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Hess tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Hess is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lane clinches with his opponent.
Hess blocks an uppercut.
Lane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lane lands an overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hess.
Xavier Lane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hess throws a big shot that misses.
Lane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hess throws a leg kick but Lane moved away.
Lane throws out a counter right but Hess avoids it with no problem.
Hess gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lane gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hess is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xavier Lane!
