Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xain Zhao (ranked 1564 p4p, 222 weight class) and Peter Patsy (ranked 2146 p4p, 285 weight class). Zhao comes to the cage accompanied by I love Friday. Peter Patsy acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patsy throws a jab when Zhao was well out of range.
Zhao keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Patsy misses with a wild body shot.
Zhao seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Patsy drives through and clinches with Zhao against the cage.

Zhao gets control of Patsy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zhao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Patsy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zhao swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zhao has his foot on Patsy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Patsy works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zhao uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Patsy.
Patsy loads up on a big right hand but Zhao slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Zhao tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zhao moves in looking to clinch but Patsy pushes him off.
Zhao takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Patsy throws a body punch but Zhao moves out of range.
Zhao definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zhao ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Patsy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Patsy looks to land a left hand but Zhao moved out of range nicely.
Patsy takes a swing at Zhao's ribcage but misses.

Patsy throws a shot from downtown. Zhao moves away and avoids it.

Patsy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Peter Patsy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Patsy swats away the attempt to clinch by Zhao.
Xain Zhao is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Patsy looks to throw the jab but Zhao is out of range.
