Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lamar Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Subject One!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by One.


It looks like Lamar Harris has been cut.

Harris dives in and scores a takedown into One's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Harris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Harris seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but One does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

One tries to lock up and control but Harris gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as One is looking to escape.

One defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Harris.

Harris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, One has managed to escape the submission attempt.
One is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

One really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
One tries to get back to half guard but can't.
One is squirming around, avoiding Harris's attempts to control the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Harris wants to finish this one by submission but One is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Harris.

One scores with the left hand. Harris knows he should have avoided that one.

One stuffs the takedown.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harris passes to full mount! That's big trouble for One!
One keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
One is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Harris is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


An inside leg kick from One misses.
One is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
One cracks Harris with a right hand to the side of the head.
One misses with a looping left.

Harris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. One sprawls well initially but Harris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
One tries to kick Harris off but Harris keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Harris performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Harris is looking to advance position but One won't allow it.

One tries to get to full guard but Harris has control of the leg.
Harris is looking to take a break and control but One is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
One controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Harris moves away from the strike by One.
One lands with a nice body punch.
Harris looks for a takedown but One sprawls well.
A jab from One does it's job there.
One has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A big right from One misses.
One lands a lovely overhand right.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
One throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've been informed that One has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
One attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. One tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. One manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harris needs to keep his hands up - One had a free shot at his head there.


Lamar Harris's cut is getting worse.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harris goes for a double leg but One avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as One continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lamar Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
One throws a hook but Harris blocks it.
One stuffs the takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harris has a takedown stuffed.
One swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Harris swings for the body but One moves out of range.
One lands with an overhand left.
Harris dives in for a single leg takedown but One sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
One cracks Harris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


Harris is rocked!
One fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Harris square on the jaw! Damn, Harris is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Subject One!
In his post fight interview, Subject One started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
