Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Nazare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo throws a sloppy head kick and Nazare moves out of range easily.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nazare is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Araujo lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Nazare goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Araujo in side control.
Nazare is rocked!
It looks like Jesus Nazare has been cut.
Araujo decides to stand back up. Araujo steps back and let's Nazare get back to his feet.
Oh Nazare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Araujo closes the distance and pushes Nazare back into the cage.
Araujo lands a big knee to the head and Nazare goes down! Araujo pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Araujo!
