The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wonder does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mayer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wonder circles away quickly and effectively.
Mayer darts in looking for a takedown but Wonder gets double underhooks and turns Mayer into the cage.
Boy Wonder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayer tries to clinch up but Wonder circles away and keeps his distance.
Mayer shoots in for a double leg but Wonder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wonder leaves Mayer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Mayer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wonder tests Mayer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wonder lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mayer at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayer is holding his hands too far apart here. Wonder throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Mayer is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
