Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phol Boxaaja (ranked 2109 p4p, 281 weight class) and Max Chaos (ranked 601 p4p, 89 weight class). Chaos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phol Boxaaja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boxaaja counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chaos throws a lazy uppercut
and Boxaaja counters with a nice uppercut.
Jab, jab by Chaos - just one landing.
Boxaaja defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chaos.
Max Chaos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chaos tries for a takedown but Boxaaja sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chaos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boxaajas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Chaos looking to score a takedown here. Boxaaja is defending well but Chaos drives through and ends up in Boxaaja's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boxaaja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Boxaaja is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chaos wants to get back to full guard.
Boxaaja is pressing down on Chaos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chaos is holding on for now.
Boxaaja works his foot free and advances to mount.
Chaos prevents Boxaaja from taking his back.
Chaos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chaos tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Chaos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boxaaja manages to get himself to full guard.
Boxaaja has momentary wrist control but Chaos slips an elbow through the middle.
Chaos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boxaaja swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chaos controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Boxaaja looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Boxaaja looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chaos with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chaos wants to control from the top but Boxaaja keeps moving.
Boxaaja looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chaos is one step ahead there.
Boxaaja is trying to control the position but Chaos postures up.
Chaos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Boxaaja has his foot on Chaos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chaos works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chaos tries to free his leg and advance position but Boxaaja is retaining full guard.
Boxaaja is looking for a triangle but Chaos pushes his legs off easily.
Chaos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chaos wants to control from the top but Boxaaja keeps moving.
Boxaaja escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chaos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chaos wants to pass the guard but Boxaaja is keeping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boxaaja has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chaos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Boxaaja.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Max Chaos will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Chaos misses with a two punch combination.
Chaos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Boxaaja throwing a counter right hand but Chaos manages to avoid it.
Chaos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boxaaja on the side of the head.
Boxaaja is rocked!
Boxaaja ducks into an uppercut from Chaos and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Max Chaos!
An out of breath Max Chaos thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
