Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tatu Kurri (ranked 730 p4p, 108 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 1027 p4p, 146 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tatu Kurri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Peterson tries to bum rush Kurri with a series of wild strikes but Kurri uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kurri changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Peterson takes a swing at Kurri's ribcage but misses. Kurri showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Peterson.
Kurri changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peterson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Peterson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kurri wants to take Peterson's back but he can't do it this time. Kurri scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Peterson?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurri with a couple of short strikes. Kurri definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Peterson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kurri. Peterson manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peterson tries to roll over but Kurri keeps him under control. Kurri has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Kurri there. Kurri working over Peterson with some ground and pound. Peterson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kurri is looking for a kimura here.

He's hooked one of Kurri's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kurri's back! Peterson controlling well, preventing Kurri from escaping the position.

Peterson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Peterson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Peterson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Peterson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kurri moves out of range as Peterson strikes. Peterson cracks Kurri with an open hand slap. Peterson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Kurri's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Peterson lands a decent elbow from side control. Kurri is trying to control Peterson's posture but Peterson avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurri is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Peterson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kurri looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Peterson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kurri tries to get to full guard but Peterson has control of the leg.

Kurri prevents Peterson from getting the reversal. Kurri is landing with some decent strikes but Peterson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peterson is in all sorts of trouble here.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Peterson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kurri is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurri is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Peterson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! And that's the end of the fight! Dylan Peterson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Peterson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
