Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hayato Sakuraba (ranked 4258 p4p, 203 weight class) and Aleksander Kazimierz (ranked 6142 p4p, 242 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazimierz feints and as Sakuraba raises his hands in defense, Kazimierz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kazimierz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sakuraba has his foot on Kazimierz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kazimierz works his way back into a safe position though.

Sakuraba throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kazimierz escapes and throws Sakuraba's legs to the side, diving into side control!

After the fight, Aleksander Kazimierz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
