and champion counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Machine lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as champion backs up against the cage.
champion swings and misses with a hook to the body.
champion ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

champion throws an overhand right that lands on Machine's shoulder, as Machine tries to avoid the shot.
champion fails in his attempt to clinch.
Machine throws a front kick aimed at champion's knee but champion avoids it well.
Machine misses with a jab to the body
and champion counters with a stiff right hand.
Machine is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machine misses with a hook. champion ducked under it nicely.
Machine showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from champion.
Machine looks to land a left hand but champion moved out of range nicely.
Machine lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd cheers as Machine lands an impressive looking overhand right. champion doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machine drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of champion's head, knocking him out cold! Machine is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). War Machine!
