Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Brsye (ranked 6184 p4p, 599 weight class) and Stewart Doyle (ranked 6822 p4p, 632 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michal Brsye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stewart Doyle!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle dives in and grabs Brsye's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brsye pushes down on Doyle's head and hops out.
Doyle tries for a takedown but Brsye circles away easily
and Brsye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Doyle looking to score a takedown here. Brsye is defending well but Doyle drives through and ends up in Brsye's guard.

Brsye manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
I was talking to Brsye's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Brsye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brsye defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doyle.
Michal Brsye has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stewart Doyle.
Brsye scores with a kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doyle is defended easily by Brsye.
Brsye wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Doyle misses with a takedown
and Brsye counters with a slapping leg kick.
Doyle looks winded!
Brsye stuffs the takedown attempt from Doyle. Doyle gets slowly back to his feet.
Brsye scores with a nice head shot.

Brsye shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Doyle eats them both and turns towards Brsye to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Doyle shoots and misses
and Brsye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Doyle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brsye tries to avoid it but Doyle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brsye to the ground. Brsye escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brsye appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Doyle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brsye connects with a high kick.
Brsye lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Brsye gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doyle tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Brsye has Doyle pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brsye pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Doyle tumbling to the mat - Brsye dives into Doyle's guard.

Doyle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brsye is aware though and is defending well.

Brsye gets to his feet - Doyle follows without any prompting.
Brsye throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Doyle.
Brsye lands a head kick!
Doyle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Brsye counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Doyle darts in looking for a takedown but Brsye gets double underhooks and turns Doyle into the cage.
Doyle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Doyle moves forwards but Brsye connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brsye.
Brsye lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Brsye dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Doyle. That did some damage!
Stewart Doyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brsye looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Doyle has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Brsye is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Doyle yanks on the arm and Brsye is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Doyle.
