Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peeta Winkle!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winkle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A looping hook to the body misses from Winkle. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Winkle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
Winkle controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith looking to hit a scissor sweep but Winkle is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Winkle frees his head nicely. Oh but Smith has switched to an armbar! Winkle is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
