Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Wrestling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Lewis! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestling shoots for a takedown but Lewis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lewis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wrestling counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wrestling gets control of Lewis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wrestling will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrestling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wrestling wants to get back to his feet but Lewis passes into half guard.
Wrestling wants to get back to full guard. Wrestling looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lewis trying to control from half guard but Wrestling is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wrestling is trying to stand back up but Lewis is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestling is defending against the submission attempts here by Lewis.
Wrestling wants to get back to full guard. Lewis wants to control but Wrestling is keeping him busy. Wrestling pushes Lewis off and gets back to his feet. Wrestling fails with the takedown and Lewis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wrestling is breathing heavily. Lewis is looking for a kimura but Wrestling is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lewis to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis is trying to control. Wrestling wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lewis is pressing down on Wrestling's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wrestling is holding on for now. Wrestling trying to control but Lewis postures up.
Lewis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lewis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wrestling is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold. Wrestling throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Lewis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestling holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Wrestling knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewis on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wrestling gets a takedown into half guard. Wrestling seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lewis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lewis is pressing down on Wrestling's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lewis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewis is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis throws a strike but Wrestling rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wrestling trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lewis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wrestling! Wrestling keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lewis is landing with some decent strikes but Wrestling is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Lewis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lewis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wrestling misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Lewis wants to pass the guard but Wrestling is defending well. Lewis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wrestling keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Wrestling is trying to maintain the position but Lewis is very close to passing his half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wrestling strikes from the bottom but Lewis passes into mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis throwing strikes but Wrestling recovers to half guard. A much better position. Lewis uses his free foot to push down on Wrestling's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wrestling. Lewis looking for a guillotine from mount but Wrestling is having none of it. Wrestling is trying to escape the mount.
Lewis working for a submission but Wrestling is keeping him at bay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrestling stops Lewis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Wrestling tries to lock up and control but Lewis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lewis manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wrestling to take his back! Wrestling won't enjoy being in this position. Lewis looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Wrestling is tapping - it's over boys! Lewis picks up the submission victory!
