Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Davis (ranked 4628 p4p, 512 weight class) and Papa Doc (ranked 4072 p4p, 480 weight class). Papa Doc is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Papa Doc!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis darts in trying to clinch
and Doc cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Doc keeps the fight on the outside.
Doc looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Davis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Davis wants to clinch but Doc slips to the side
enabling Doc to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Kenny Davis has been cut.
Davis tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Doc counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis closes the distance but Doc moves to the side
and Doc counters with a nice right hand that sends Davis toppling to the canvas! Davis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Doc finish him?!
Davis is rocked!

Davis misses with a hook
and Doc counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis looks to clinch
and Doc counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Papa Doc!
