Valdez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pump it up. Zoun Dougou could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Valdez's chin.

Dougou throws a hook but Valdez avoids it easily.

Dougou tries to work over Valdez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dougou throws a punch but it's blocked by Valdez.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dougou - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Valdez wants to break free but Dougou has control.
Valdez wants to get back to striking at distance but Dougou won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on Valdez's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Dougou looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Valdez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dougou has him pressed against the cage.
Valdez blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dougou lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Valdez blocks an uppercut.

Dougou is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Valdez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Valdez lands a brutal head kick. Dougou looks out on his feet and Valdez throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
