Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bleeding Spanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Babinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spanner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Babinski's head backwards. Good exchange - Babinski coming out on top.

Bleeding Spanner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spanner throws a hook to the side of Babinski's head but Babinski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Spanner throws a poor cross that misses

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spanner looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Spanner's corner calls for a 1-2. Spanner jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Babinski lands a head kick!

Spanner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Babinski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Spanner. Babinski throws out a loose jab but Spanner uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bleeding Spanner's cut is getting worse. Babinski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Spanner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Spanner lands a big head kick that sends Babinski tumbling to the mat! Spanner takes a step backwards and waves Babinski back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Alexei Babinski has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Spanner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Spanner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Babinski swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. The fighters circling - Spanner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Babinski doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Babinski throws a right hand that Spanner ducks under and follows up with a left that Spanner also avoids with ease. Babinski has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spanner misses with a kick to the body and Babinski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Spanner lands with a nice body kick. Babinski pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spanner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Babinski throws out the jab. Babinski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spanner moves away. and Babinski counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Spanner is lucky that one didn't land flush. Babinski punishes Spanner's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Babinski throws a head kick that misses. Babinski misses with a body kick. Spanner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Spanner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A little jabbing left from Babinski on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Spanner scores with a hook to the body. Babinski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Spanner looks to throw the jab but Babinski is out of range. Babinski tries to land a front kick but Spanner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spanner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Spanner feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Babinski's calf. Spanner misses with a straight left. Babinski swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Babinski moves out of range as Spanner strikes. Spanner throws a quick counter kick to the body but Babinski avoids it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spanner connects with a body shot that sends Babinski's belly button to the back. That was a close second round but I would say that Bleeding Spanner will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Babinski, as that shot connected.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bleeding Spanner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alexei Babinski! Alexei Babinski is the new heavyweight champion! A less than humble Alexei Babinski misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
