Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Neuer (ranked 1503 p4p, 1036 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 188 p4p, 127 weight class). Manuel Neuer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jacks Sole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Manuel Neuer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jacks Sole! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sole chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Neuer tries to clinch up but Sole circles away and keeps his distance. Neuer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sole quickly recovers to half guard. Neuer seems to be working for a kimura but Sole defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neuer is looking for a kimura here.
Sole keeps control of the position for the meantime. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Neuer is looking for a kimura here.

Sole utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Neuer trying to move into half guard but instead Sole has managed to sweep!
Neuer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sole is pushing down on Neuer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Neuer is fighting to maintain full guard but Sole has managed to sneak the leg through. Neuer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Neuer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sole is one step ahead there. Neuer looking for a guillotine here but Sole defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sole is stalling in the full guard. Neuer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sole doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sole manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Neuer has a closed guard, preventing Sole from standing up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Neuer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sole can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manuel Neuer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sole throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Neuer checks a leg kick nicely. Sole scores with a jab to the jaw. Sole throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Neuer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sole finds it's way round the side to connect with Neuer's head. Sole looks to land a left hand but Neuer moved out of range nicely. Sole defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Neuer. Sole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sole tries to land a leg kick but Neuer saw it coming and moves away.
Neuer is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sole. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A leg kick checked by Sole. Nice defenses there by Sole. Sole tries a quick counter leg kick but Neuer is wise to it. Neuer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Neuer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Neuer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neuer throws a body kick that misses. A left lands for Sole. Jacks Sole seems to be getting the better of the standup. Neuer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Neuer attempts a counter takedown but Sole avoids it well and moves away. Neuer tries to clinch there but Sole circles away.
Donk. Sole catches Neuer right on the button with a cross. Neuer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sole avoids it really well and circles away. Sole throws a series of punches but Neuer moves out of range. Neuer swings for the body but Sole moves out of range.
Sole finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Neuer thows a left - swing and a miss! Sole misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sole throws a leg kick which misses Neuer's front leg but catches the back leg as Neuer tries to avoid it. Sole pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Neuer scores with a takedown into Sole's guard. Neuer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Neuer works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neuer is looking for a kimura but Sole is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Neuer to get the leverage. Neuer is working for a submission of some sort.
Sole wants to get back to full guard. Sole keeps trying to improve his position. Neuer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sole doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Neuer. Neuer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sole sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sole wants to get back to full guard. Neuer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sole is desperately trying to improve his position but Neuer has a good base and remains in mount. Sole holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Neuer tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Sole is trying desperately to improve position. Neuer quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Neuer but it's paid off an Sole is forced to tap! Nice work by Neuer.
