Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Akara Badildoon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sandy Dunes! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Badildoon clinches with his opponent.
Dunes avoiding damage.
Badildoon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dunes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dunes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Badildoon is defending well for now. Badildoon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Badildoon misses with a short punch on the inside. Dunes breaks from the clinch.
Dunes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Badildoon takes the fight into the clinch. Dunes lands a knee to the body.
Badildoon lands a hook that snaps the head of Dunes backwards. Dunes taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Badildoon lands a body shot. Badildoon lands a shot to the body. Dunes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Badildoon is defending well for now. Badildoon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dunes. Badildoon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Dunes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Badildoon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dunes blocking some punches.

Dunes blocks a body shot from Badildoon. A right handed body shot lands from Badildoon.
Badildoon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dunes's elbow. Badildoon softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A short right from Badildoon. Badildoon lands a nice uppercut. Badildoon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dunes throws a punch but it's blocked by Badildoon. Badildoon gets through Dunes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dunes lands a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dunes blocks an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunes takes a shot to the head. A short right from Badildoon on the inside. Still in the clinch, Badildoon scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dunes is rocked! Dunes's coach down at Armored Fitness & Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dunes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Badildoon misses with the head strike.
Dunes is still on wobbly legs! Can Badildoon finish him? Badildoon misses with a short punch on the inside. Badildoon misses with a punch on the inside.
Badildoon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Badildoon has a couple of punches blocked by Dunes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Badildoon. Dunes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dunes trying to control the position but instead, Badildoon has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dunes into the cage. Badildoon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Badildoon swings wildly with an uppercut but Dunes uses good head movement to avoid it. Badildoon breaks from the clinch.
Dunes seems to have recovered his senses. Dunes tries to close the distance and clinch but Badildoon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dunes tries to clinch but Badildoon moves out of range. Badildoon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Dunes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Badildoon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Dunes has Badildoon up against the cage in a clinch.
Badildoon lands a big right hand that drops Dunes! The killer instinct kicks in and Badildoon finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Badildoon!
