Watts keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nekele feints and then cracks Watts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Watts down.
Nekele lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Watts throws a hook to the side of Nekele's head but Nekele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nekele swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nekele tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Watts was well out of range. Poor timing from Nekele.
Watts moves out of range as Nekele strikes.
Watts shapes to counter with a head kick.
Watts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Watts crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nekele - the referee stops the clock and Watts gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nekele. Watts manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Watts lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nekele circles away quickly and effectively.

Nekele uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Watts.
Watts takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nekele is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Watts can do to turn this around?

Watts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Watts there as he acknowledges the shot.
Watts throws a low kick, looking for Nekele's leg but Nekele calmly moves out of range.
Watts closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nekele did well to prevent Watts getting side control.
Nekele is controlling Watts's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Watts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nekele's head.
Nekele is looking to control Watts's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nekele avoid being mounted?
Watts thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Watts lands a nice short elbow.
Watts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Nekele will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Watts might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nekele haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
