Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Jean Labosky (ranked 4299 p4p, 400 weight class) and Bastien Giroud (ranked 23671 p4p, 568 weight class). Giroud comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Khaled- Aisha kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 43 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Bastien Giroud! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Labosky tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Giroud is able to avoid easily. Labosky lands a nice hook to Giroud's body. Giroud takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Labosky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Giroud moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Giroud has Labosky up against the ropes in a clinch.

Labosky throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Giroud blocks it with crossed arms. Giroud is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Giroud is pushing Labosky up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Labosky is trying to push Giroud away but Giroud has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Giroud tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Labosky avoids it. Giroud lands with a light punch inside. Giroud working some nice short punches in the clinch. Giroud fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Labosky is trying to break the clinch but Giroud has him pressed against the ropes. Labosky has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Labosky's face as he tries to break the clinch. Giroud just leaning against Labosky, taking a breather. Labosky wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Labosky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Labosky counters with a straight right hand. Giroud swings away with a body shot that misses
and Labosky counters with a two punch combo. Giroud throws a looping overhand right but Labosky ducks down to avoid it. Labosky takes one on the button. Giroud throws a body shot but no joy. Labosky wants to clinch up but Giroud keeps it at a distance. Giroud throws a poor cross that misses
and Labosky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Giroud throws the left hand but Labosky avoids the punch easily. Giroud takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Labosky on the wrong end of a nice jab. Labosky lands a nice leg kick that just misses Giroud's sensitive parts. Giroud misses with a double jab.
Labosky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Giroud. Giroud has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Giroud has taken the fight to the clinch.
Giroud prevents Labosky from breaking the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Labosky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Giroud displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Giroud throws a leg kick and Labosky counters with a thumping low kick. Labosky avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Labosky went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Labosky plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Giroud throws a left and a right that both miss
and Labosky makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Giroud clinches up with Labosky and pushes him back against the ropes. Labosky misses with a punch on the inside.

Labosky is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bastien Giroud dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A head kick from Labosky lands but Giroud takes it in his stride. Giroud wants to land a leg kick but Labosky is out of range. Jean Labosky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Giroud looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Labosky slips under a jab from Giroud. Labosky half committed to a counter leg kick. Labosky lands a leg kick that knocks Giroud off balance momentarily. Labosky is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Giroud. Oh Labosky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Giroud dances in with a quick combination. Labosky is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Giroud snaps Labosky's head back. Labosky stumbles backwards against the ropes. Giroud steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Labosky's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Labosky just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bastien Giroud! Bastien Giroud took some time post fight to say the following; 'Nobody in the division can take my shots ! Its a message to the rest of the fighters: im coming'.
