Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Darren Tellkins (ranked 3007 p4p, 307 weight class) and Carter Jose De La Cus (ranked 6586 p4p, 510 weight class). Tellkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stunna 4 Vegas - Punch me in Pt 4. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose De La Cus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nice body kick there by Tellkins.
Jose De La Cus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Tellkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Tellkins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jose De La Cus misses with a looping left.
Tellkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tellkins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tellkins lands a front kick to the face, that drops Jose De La Cus to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
It looks like Carter Jose De La Cus has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tellkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jose De La Cus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tellkins misses with a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jose De La Cus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tellkins - the referee stops the clock and Jose De La Cus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tellkins. Jose De La Cus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jose De La Cus walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Tellkins and drops face first to the floor! Jose De La Cus's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Jose De La Cus in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Darren Tellkins!
