Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Cook (ranked 7538 p4p, 161 weight class) and Datu Rizalia (ranked 1772 p4p, 74 weight class). Rizalia has chosen Ballad of a dead soulja by tupac as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Solomon Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Datu Rizalia! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizalia looks to score with a jab to the body but Cook is just out of range. Cook cracks Rizalia with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Datu Rizalia has been cut. Rizalia moves out of range as Cook throws a body kick.
Cook connects with a high kick. Cook throws a body punch but Rizalia moves out of range. Cook throws a nice outside leg kick. Cook throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rizalia pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cook lands a jab. Cook needs to keep his hands up - Rizalia had a free shot at his head there. Rizalia has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rizalia there as he acknowledges the shot. Rizalia blocks a leg kick. Rizalia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cook moves away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A good leg kick by Rizalia. Cook doesn't manage to clinch there - Rizalia circles away.
Cook moves away from the strike by Rizalia. Cook throwing a counter right hand but Rizalia manages to avoid it. Some bone on bone action there as Cook checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Rizalia lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cook at a distance.
Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cook scores with a punch to the head. Rizalia misses with a looping left. Rizalia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Nice body punch from Cook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook blocking some punches.
Cook swings wildly with an uppercut but Rizalia uses good head movement to avoid it. Rizalia wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Cook creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Cook misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cook has Rizalia pressed against the ropes, preventing Rizalia from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rizalia tries to throw a body punch but Cook avoids it by throwing Rizalia back against the ropes. Cook lands a shoulder strike. Cook scores with an uppercut up the middle. Rizalia lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cook. Rizalia lands a hook that snaps the head of Cook backwards. Rizalia wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rizalia breaks the clinch.
Cook goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cook throws a quick inside leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Cook.
Cook misses the jab. Cook uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rizalia. Cook checks a leg kick. Cook throws a sloppy head kick and Rizalia moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Rizalia comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rizalia throws a jab when Cook was well out of range. Rizalia slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Rizalia lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rizalia's corner calls for a 1-2. Rizalia obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rizalia tries to clinch there but Cook circles away.
Cook throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rizalia sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rizalia misses the jab. Rizalia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cook moves away. Rizalia misses with a head kick.
Cook uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rizalia.
Cook throwing a counter right hand but Rizalia manages to avoid it. Rizalia avoids the head kick by Cook.
Rizalia scores with a kick to the midsection. Cook closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Rizalia crashing to the mat! Rizalia uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue! Cook throws a body shot but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cook looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rizalia tries to clinch but Cook moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Cook. Rizalia does a little dance to reset his feet. Cook takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cook throws a shot from downtown. Rizalia moves away and avoids it. Cook bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Solomon Cook should take that round, based on the knockdown. The cut man is working on Datu Rizalia's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A slow jab from Rizalia misses its intended target. Rizalia looks to land a right hand but Cook moved out of range. Cook's corner calls for a 1-2. Cook obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Cook thuds his right hand into Rizalia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Cook connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Rizalia's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Rizalia - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Solomon Cook! Solomon Cook was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
