Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Epstein (ranked 6976 p4p, 4469 weight class) and Banger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alfie Epstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Banger Jones! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Epstein cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jones misses with a takedown and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Epstein definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jones connects with a solid leg kick. Epstein with a jab. Jones tries to land a leg kick but Epstein saw it coming and moves away.
Epstein went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Jones with a poor takedown and Epstein counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Epstein lands with a cross. Epstein lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand. Jones throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Epstein counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jones thinking. Epstein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jones tries to advance to mount but can't. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Epstein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Epstein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Epstein is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Jones wants to control but Epstein is keeping him busy. Jones controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Jones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones just content to control the position. Jones wants to control but Epstein is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Epstein sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Epstein lands a slapping body shot.
Alfie Epstein is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones fails with the takedown and Epstein counters with a lovely shot to the body. Alfie Epstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Banger Jones. A telegraphed right hand from Epstein misses the target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big right from Epstein misses. Jones misses with a leg kick letting Epstein counter with a right hand. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Epstein manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jones has his takedown stuffed and Epstein counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A low kick from Jones misses letting Epstein counter with a right hand. Jones takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jab by Epstein. Epstein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones with a poor takedown and Epstein counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Epstein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though. Jones looks winded! Epstein fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Epstein throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Epstein scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks. Jones misses the body punch and Epstein counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones misses with a wild body shot. Epstein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. Jones wants to clinch up but Epstein keeps it at a distance. Epstein slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Epstein scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Banger Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A kick lands to the mid section there for Jones. Epstein darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A low kick from Jones misses and Epstein counters with a straight right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Epstein throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Epstein. Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Epstein checks it well. Epstein is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around?

Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. It looked like Epstein was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones. Epstein throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Jones tries to move into range but Epstein moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Epstein jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. Alfie Epstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Banger Jones. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Epstein counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jones thinking. Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Epstein. Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Epstein counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Alfie Epstein is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Epstein connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off. Jones has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Epstein darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Jones is rocked! Epstein throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Epstein lands a jab to Jones's midsection. Epstein lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Epstein finish him? Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jones seems to have recovered his senses. Epstein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head.

Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Epstein makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nice shot lands for Epstein. Jones drops his hands momentarily and Epstein takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Epstein scores with a jab to the jaw. Epstein connects with a body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Epstein lands a jab to Jones's midsection. Epstein stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Epstein counters with a straight punch to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfie Epstein dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Epstein scores with a decent looking hook. Jones closes the distance but Epstein moves to the side and Epstein counters with a right hand to the body. Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Epstein counters with a nice body shot. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Epstein sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Epstein dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Epstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Epstein is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Alfie Epstein showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Epstein, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
