A head kick by Filipovic misses

so Boonen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Filipovic is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Boonen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Filipovic lands a left hand.

Filipovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boonen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Filipovic's half guard.

Filipovic has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boonen is on him like a limpet, forcing Filipovic back against the cage.

Filipovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boonen tries to keep at a distance but Filipovic has taken the fight into the clinch.
Filipovic goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boonen prevents it.
Filipovic lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boonen backwards.

Filipovic throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Boonens head.
Filipovic is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Filipovic lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Filipovic breaks the clinch.
Filipovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boonen.
Filipovic Throws a clean left jab. Filipovic Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Boonen's chin! Boonen crumbles to the ground and Filipovic follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Filipovic!
