Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trejean Dugall (ranked 1846 p4p, 107 weight class) and Gene Steve Duterte (ranked 1804 p4p, 103 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dugall.
Duterte swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dugall has been working on his balance at Death Valley Training Facility, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Duterte.

A nice side step and Duterte releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Trejean Dugall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dugall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duterte swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dugall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duterte dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dugall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Duterte defends it easily.

Duterte wants to get up but he can't break Dugall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Duterte got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dugall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duterte has managed to get both his arms back between Dugall's legs - danger averted.
