The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckean throws a hook to the side of Guzman's head but Guzman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Guzman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Guzman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mckean.
A punch combination from Mckean misses.
Guzman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Guzman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mckean moves out of range of the strikes.
Mckean connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Guzman's hands.
Mckean showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Guzman.
Guzman misses with a hook.
Mckean just misses with a punch to the body.
Guzman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Guzman looks to land a left hand but Mckean moved out of range nicely.
Mckean scores with a punch to the head.

Mckean lands with a nice combination. Guzman backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Ovido Guzman has been cut.
Rian Mckean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
and Mckean counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Guzman! He's just covering up as Mckean starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
