Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between LeBron James (ranked 3281 p4p, 331 weight class) and Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 1649 p4p, 189 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; LeBron James! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Dmitri Zaitsev! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. James closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaitsev to the mat! Zaitsev manages to get full guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: James (2) vs (0) Zaitsev Zaitsev keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Zaitsev trying to keep a closed guard but James is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zaitsev is on top in guard.
Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: James (2) vs (2) Zaitsev Zaitsev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and James dives on top into guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: James (4) vs (2) Zaitsev Zaitsev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zaitsev keeping full guard, as James tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zaitsev seems keen to control James's posture. James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. James passes Zaitsev's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaitsev is looking for a sweep. James is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zaitsev trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but James manages to pass to mount!

James is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zaitsev to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zaitsev shrugs it off. James fails to advance to Zaitsev's back. Zaitsev bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: James (7) vs (4) Zaitsev James controls Zaitsev momentarily but Zaitsev frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaitsev pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. James is keeping the position for now. Zaitsev trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zaitsev tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. James pulls Zaitsev in close to prevent any damage. James keeping full guard, as Zaitsev tries to pass. Zaitsev wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaitsev looking to sit in guard and control but James gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: James (9) vs (4) Zaitsev The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Zaitsev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Zaitsev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zaitsev looking for a sweep. Not yet Zaitsev, not yet. James wants to pass the guard but Zaitsev is keeping the position. We've been informed that Zaitsev has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. James content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Zaitsev has locked up a guillotine! Zaitsev's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? James is holding on here and Zaitsev must be using up a lot of energy. James has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Zaitsev gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
