Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew WK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kobe Kenobi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew WK! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! WK thows a body shot but no joy. Kenobi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. WK sprawls well initially but Kenobi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. WK is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kenobi pulls his head out easily. WK is not content to let Kenobi control the position. Kenobi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. WK is trying to control but can't.
Kenobi decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. WK swinging wilding here.
Kenobi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenobi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. WK escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kenobi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. WK looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kenobi has picked WK up and slammed him! WK can't keep hold of the triangle and Kenobi manages to pass to side control! WK tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kenobi working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. WK taking a bit of punishment here - Kenobi scoring with strikes. WK is looking for a sweep. WK is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Kenobi are missing the target in this wave of attacks. WK is trying to improve his position. Kenobi decides to stand up, so the ref orders WK to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kenobi softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kenobi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. WK can't fight it off and eventually Kenobi manages to take the fight to the floor. WK looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. WK throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenobi stays in close to WK's body and controls the position. Kenobi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. WK stuffs the takedown attempt from Kenobi. Kenobi gets slowly back to his feet. Kenobi is breathing heavily. WK misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kenobi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kobe Kenobi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenobi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. WK is trying to control but Kenobi manages to pass to mount!
WK is desperately trying to improve his position but Kenobi has a good base and remains in mount. Kenobi blocks WK's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. WK is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. WK is squirming around, avoiding Kenobi's attempts to control the action. WK wants to hold on but Kenobi pushes him away. Kenobi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for WK on the ground. Kenobi is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Kenobi wants to control the pace but WK is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kobe Kenobi dominated that round. That's time! Kenobi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
WK looks to land a combination but Kenobi avoids it well. WK goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. WK misses with a two punch combination.
Kenobi lands with a nice body kick. Kenobi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kenobi wants to clinch up but WK keeps it at a distance. WK avoids the head kick by Kenobi.
WK swats away the attempt to clinch by Kenobi. WK closes the distance and clinches up with Kenobi, looking for a takedown. WK pushes Kenobi against the cage but Kenobi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. WK circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kenobi. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kenobi moves in looking to clinch but WK pushes him off. Kenobi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. WK has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kenobi is working away from the top position though. Kenobi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. WK looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. WK is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kenobi pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. WK is trying to get back to full guard. Kenobi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but WK does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. WK is pressing down on Kenobi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. WK looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
WK is trying to keep Kenobi in close.
WK isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kenobi stacks WK on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kenobi!
That's three minutes gone in the round. WK struggling a bit here. WK strikes from the bottom but Kenobi takes advantage and advances to full mount! Kenobi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kenobi blocks WK's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. WK is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. WK tries to lock up and control but Kenobi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. WK tries to get back to half guard but can't. WK tries to hold on but Kenobi pushes him away. Kenobi misses with a head shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. WK tries to hold on but Kenobi pushes him away. Kenobi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Kenobi is going olschool here, as he tries to force WK to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so WK shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kobe Kenobi will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
WK lands a jab to the head.
Kenobi throws a low kick, looking for WK's leg but WK calmly moves out of range. WK lands with a straight right. Kenobi didn't see that one coming. Kenobi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kenobi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kenobi blocks the strikes from WK.
Kenobi is thwarting WK's attempts to control the position. WK makes his way to full guard. A much better position for WK.
That's one minute gone in the round. WK working for a triangle but Kenobi defends it easily.

Kenobi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. WK had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kenobi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. WK Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kenobi's back instead. WK doesn't have the hooks in and Kenobi manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. WK pushes a forearm under Kenobi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kenobi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
