Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Vince Checkert (ranked 6062 p4p, 119 weight class) and John Diokane (ranked 5848 p4p, 191 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Diokane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Checkert defends well and Diokane ends up having to push Checkert into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Diokane shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Checkert (0) vs (2) Diokane Diokane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Checkert has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diokane has managed to get both his arms back between Checkert 's legs - danger averted. Diokane passes Checkert 's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Checkert is staying active underneath Diokane, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Checkert tries to roll over but Diokane keeps him under control.
