Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crucifix Hill (ranked 5207 p4p, 4858 weight class) and Dan Cosey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crucifix Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Cosey! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill punishes Cosey's body with a nice straight punch. Cosey shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense. Nice jab there from Hill. Hill misses with a wild combination.
Cosey misses with a head kick.
Cosey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hill but Hill pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hill connects with a crisp jab. Hill swats away the attempt to clinch by Cosey. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cosey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hill sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Crucifix Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Cosey. Hill bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cosey on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cosey with a poor takedown and Hill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hill uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cosey has time to react. Hill's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cosey under the eye. Cosey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hill throws out a powerful jab. Hill is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nice shot lands for Hill. Cosey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hill is trying to defend but Cosey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hill wants to stand back up but Cosey manages to pass into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hill keeping his opponent close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cosey trying to control the action but Hill is working from the bottom. Hill is looking for a sweep. Cosey has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hill scores with a jab. Cosey acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hill lands with a straight right. Cosey didn't see that one coming. The crowd cheers as Hill lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cosey doesn't seem phased though. Nice straight punches there by Hill. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hill. Hill thuds a left hand into Cosey's body. Hill is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cosey darts in looking for a takedown but Hill gets double underhooks and turns Cosey into the cage. Hill lands a lovely overhand right. Crucifix Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from Hill. Good shot there by Hill. Hill scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Cosey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Crucifix Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cosey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hill was covering up waiting for the punch and Cosey finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cosey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hill looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cosey is one step ahead there. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cosey on the ground. Cosey gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cosey walks into a jab. Hill jabs at Cosey's body. Cosey throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cosey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cosey is looking to take a break and control but Hill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cosey looks winded! Hill tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cosey wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crucifix Hill dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hill uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Cosey shoots in for a double leg but Hill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cosey takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cosey fails to land the takedown. Cosey fails with the takedown letting Hill counter with a right hand. Crucifix Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Cosey. Hill works Cosey's body with a nice hook. Dan Cosey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hill connects with a nice looking jab.
Cosey takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Hill counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cosey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hill makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hill connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cosey walks into a stiff left hand from Hill. Cosey is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The fighters circle momentarily. Hill darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hill connects with a looping right hand.
Cosey gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hill scores with a hook. Cosey takes one to the side of the head.
Crucifix Hill is winning the standup battle so far. Cosey tries for a takedown but Hill circles away easily enabling Hill to counter with a crisp jab.
Cosey is rocked! Hill cracks Cosey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hill is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill connects with a crisp jab. Cosey is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him? Cosey is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Hill moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crucifix Hill! After the fight, Crucifix Hill was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
