Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Kneel (ranked 25804 p4p, 555 weight class) and Dante Crowder (ranked 4820 p4p, 427 weight class). The key to victory for Liam Kneel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dante Crowder!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowder looks to throw the jab but Kneel is out of range.
Kneel appears to be looking for a big counter.
Crowder throws a right and a left that Kneel avoids nicely.
Kneel is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Crowder has managed to clinch.

Crowder breaks the clinch.
Crowder throws a right hand that misses
and Kneel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Crowder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crowder goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kneel slips under a jab from Crowder.

Crowder scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Crowder swings for the body but Kneel moves out of range.

and Kneel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Crowder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kneel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Crowder takes a swing at Kneel's ribcage but misses.

Crowder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kneel is looking to get back to his feet here but Crowder is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kneel's back.

Crowder just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Let's hope that Crowder has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kneel pushes Crowder away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crowder gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well Crowder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
