Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Dado Mata (ranked 1100 p4p, 134 weight class) and Kron Silva (ranked 1206 p4p, 146 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mata might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 和楽器バンド / 千本桜. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kron Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 24 wins and 18 losses; Dado Mata! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 7 losses; Kron Silva!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Mata shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Mata finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Silva felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mata pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Mata will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mata is persistently looking for the submission but Silva is defending it well.

Mata is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into Mata. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mata's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mata swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mata isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Silva stacks Mata on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Silva!

Mata has the hooks in. Silva is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Mata passes his arm under Silva's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Silva taps!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dado Mata!
