Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tre Potts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donald Eriksson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.





The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Potts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Eriksson cracks Potts with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A jab from Eriksson misses.
Eriksson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Potts. Potts circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Potts moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Potts takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice shot by Eriksson.

Potts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Potts tries to free his leg and advance position but Eriksson is retaining full guard.
Potts content to stall in guard here.
Potts looking to pass the guard.

Potts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Potts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eriksson wants to stand and escape but Potts is having none of it.
Potts wants to control from the top but Eriksson keeps moving.
Potts prevents Eriksson from getting back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Eriksson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Potts gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Eriksson.
The crowd cheers as Eriksson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Potts doesn't seem phased though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Potts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Eriksson clobbers Potts with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Eriksson misses with a body shot.
Potts feinted with a counter takedown.

Eriksson lands a big right hand that sends Potts crashing to the mat! Eriksson stays standing though and waves Potts back to his feet!

Potts is rocked!

It looks like Tre Potts has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eriksson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Eriksson cracks Potts with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Eriksson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Potts to stand back up!
Oh Potts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eriksson circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Potts tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Eriksson wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donald Eriksson!
