Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Gach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JuanPablo Verde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verde will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gach drives through and clinches with Verde against the cage.
Gach breaks the clinch.
Gach throws a shot from downtown. Verde moves away and avoids it. Gach forces Verde back against the cage and clinches. Verde wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Verde jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gach walks away with a smile on his face. Verde gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Verde tries to clinch up. Gach finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Verde swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Verde looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gach is fending him off so far but Verde persists. Nope, Gach circles away and we're back to standing. Andrzej Gach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JuanPablo Verde. Gach shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Verde's guard. Gach content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Verde looking to control.
Gach wants to control from the top but Verde keeps moving. Gach keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Verde's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Verde looking for a sweep. Not yet Verde, not yet. Gach has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Verde looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gach chips away with some ground and pound. Gach working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Verde's head. Verde is trying to control the position but Gach postures up. Verde looking for a guillotine here but Gach defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Verde is working an open guard so Gach takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gach motions for Verde to come forward. Gach throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Verde tries to clinch up. Verde lands a nice hook to Gach's body. Gach takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Verde tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gach swivels and escapes. Gach throws a big shot that misses. Gach drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Verde is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gach stands up and beckons Verde to his feet. Gach bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Verde wants to control but Gach postures up. Gach advances to mount. Gach with a couple of short strikes. Verde can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Verde's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Verde taking shots to the head. Gach scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Gach tries to control but Verde wriggling away. Gach lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Verde hang on? Verde is working to get back to half guard.
Gach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Verde on the ground. Gach scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Verde?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrzej Gach dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gach looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Verde is looking to improve his position.
Verde regains full guard. Nicely done. Gach trying to stand up but can't free himself from Verde's guard. Verde looking to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Verde wants to stand up but Gach is controlling him. Verde looking to control but Gach passes into half guard.
Gach seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Verde is looking for a sweep. Gach is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gach swings for the body but Verde moves out of range.
Gach throws a leg kick but Verde checks it. Gach throws a combination that misses and Verde counters with a right hand to the body. Gach wants to land a leg kick but Verde is out of range. Gach rushes Verde and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Verde tries for a takedown but Gach manages to get underhooks.
Gach's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gach is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Gach.

Verde tries to clinch up. Andrzej Gach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gach missing with a left hand there. Verde was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Verde shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gach counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gach. Gach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gach stuffs the takedown. Andrzej Gach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JuanPablo Verde. Verde connects with a high kick. Gach swats away the attempt to clinch by Verde. Gach misses with a leg kick and Gach takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gach misses with a jab, cross combination.
Verde with a poor takedown and Gach decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Verde's guard. Gach has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Verde is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Verde is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Verde is wriggling around but Gach manages to pass to half guard.
Verde has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gach is working away from the top position though. Verde punching from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrzej Gach dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gach misses with a leg kick. Verde lands a glancing blow to the side of Gach's head. Verde tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gach paws at him with a jab and circles away. Verde keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Verde lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gach takes a step back to recover. Verde with a lazy takedown attempt and Gach counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Verde! Gach scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Verde?
Verde tries to hold on but Gach pushes him away. Gach landing shots from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gach prevents Verde from getting the reversal. Andrzej Gach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Verde is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gach with shots to the head and body - Verde looks very uncomfortable down there. Verde is looking to improve his position but Gach isn't that keen on the idea. Gach cracks Verde with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Verde regains half guard. Gach thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Verde to regain full guard. Gach might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Verde looking to control.
Gach stands up over Verde, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gach trying to control the position from guard on top but Verde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gach stands and steps away. Verde gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Gach throws a sloppy body shot
and Verde counters with a head kick. Verde gets caught flat footed, as Gach shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gach stands up from guard. Let's bang! Verde closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gach circles away. No luck for Verde with that takedown attempt. Andrzej Gach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JuanPablo Verde. Verde fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gach throws a left and a right that both miss
and Verde counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gach is lucky that one didn't land flush. Verde looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Verde fails with an attempt to clinch.

Gach darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Verde is staying active underneath Gach, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Verde wants to control but Gach is keeping busy.
Gach decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrzej Gach showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gach has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
